Summer School: Gender and Body Dynamics
Koordinationen for Kønsforskning arrangerer summer school til august på Sociologisk Institut på Københavns Universitet med køn og krop i fokus set fra flere forskellige faglige vinkler med overskriften: 'Gender and Body Dynamics in the 21st century. New turns in Theory, Methodology and Practice'.
Kurset er åbent for tilmelding både for bachelor- og kandidatstuderende.

| Formål: | The aim of the international summer school on Gender and Body Dynamics in the 21st century, is to provide a venue of exchange between international and Danish Students to learn about recent developments in either fields. The summer-school will from a range of interdisciplinary approaches and theoretical “turns” expose gendered representations of the body in politics, law and arts, as well as in health, nutrition and bio-medicine. |
| Indhold: | Departing from these trends the international summer school will be structured around lectures by a team of faculty members from University of Copenhagen. They will focus on how gender and body dynamics are have been produced in different institutional and thematic sites. In addition the course will offer opportunities for small scale field work in public and private institutions in Copenhagen. |
