Koordinationen for Kønsforskning > GenderKalender
GenderKalenderN is a collaboration between national distributors of information about gender and gender equality in the Nordic countries. It started over ten years ago. The idea behind the collaboration is that the participating organisations add information from their respective countries to a shared database, or central calendar. Each organisation can then decide what information in the database to display on its national website. This enables the participants to customise a Nordic gender calendar to fit the needs and target groups in their respective countries. This solution is both flexible and effective, since information has to be added only once by one participant but can then be published by any participating organisation according to relevance.
Within the same cooperation we also provide two other portals:
Apply for jobs
GenderJob lists job openings with a gender or gender equality profile across the Nordic region and internationally.
Use GenderFund to look for research and project funding, stipends and other funding opportunities.
The calendar was re-designed and modernised in May 2013, for example enabling users to share posts on Facebook and Twitter. The calendar also changed names from NordKalender to GenderKalenderN. We hope you will find GenderKalenderN useful. It you think an event is missing, please contact the organisation in charge of the information for the country where the event will be hosted or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us help you.
