Kraka Award

Women, Gender & Reseach recieved in april 2016 the Kraka-award for "being an inspiration to many gender researchers and for having contributed to inform the society about gender theory and research. The journal has been responsible for theoretical and methodological developments and has continuously introduced new themes within gender research. Rewarding Women, Gender & Research Krakaprisen will hopefully contribute to the impressive theoretical and empirical variation and curiosity that has characterized the journal, will persists."

Women, Gender and Research edited by a multidisciplinary editorial, from several Danish universities. Associate Professor Hilda Rømer Christensen is executive editor and the journal is based at the Coordination for Gender Research, Department of Sociology, University of Copenhagen.
